A wonderfully easy homemade bbq sauce with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. 6 ingredients and 5 minutes simmering and you have a versatile homemade bbq sauce for chicken and pork ribs.
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup ketchup
- ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper; heating until simmering. Cook, stirring often, 5 minutes or until flavors are melded and sauce is thickened to your liking.
