  1. I am very neat when I make BBQ sauce. After I make it and put it in my empty I use ketchup bottles and other bottles I have saved .I have about half a bottle left from when I made my last batch about a year ago. It gets better with age. Of course I keep it refrigerated. Be neat and be spotlessly clean in all respects and you will have a sauce that is great and people love it. I always use ketchup as a base. Take a simple BBQ sauce from a recipe listed on your computer that sounds good to you Use common sense and add a little of this and a little of that, tasting it as you go. When you develop you own sauce to YOUR pleasing ask others what they think of it. Never make it Hot to start with. If you like it hot add heat at the table. That way everyone will be able to enjoy.
